Friends, I received the following this morning from Barry Garber.
One of our former shipmates has passed away. Robert "Bob " Christian passed away on the 27 of November. Those of you that have served with him, knew how great a person he was. Those that met him at reunions, came to know him as well. He served his country for 30 years, and his family continues to do so today. The world will be a little less friendly, without Bob. Please let Gay know how much he will be missed by all, and that our prayers are with her, at this time, for her loss.

Thank you for such kind words - I am Bob's youngest daughter and my husband and I had the opportunity to meet many of you at the reunion in Charleston a few years ago. Dad thought the world of his Catamount friends. Mom speaks of you all regularly and is looking forward to joining you again soon.
