As today being the first day of a New Year, I challenge each of you to take a quart jar and for everyday write one thing down that was good that day and put it in it. Then on New Year's Eve of 2014 take the pieces of paper out and read them.

Halloween

I just want to wish everyone out there a very happy Halloween. This starts the Holiday season for me. I love to come up with original ideas for Halloween. So on that note I will post a picture later to show you. Have a fun today!!! It is not just for kids.

Story

There are some that might have lost interest in this blog. But I have not been to the reunions because my Mom has been ill or I have been. I am trying to get back in the swing of things and remember some of the stories that my dad had told me about his Navy days. There was one that always touched my heart. He said that he got the order to stop all engines. And go on the deck. There everyone was on the deck when this school of dolphins swam in front of the Cat. You see I love dolphins and dad knew it would make me smile. Some of you I have met and you made feel welcome. This girl loved her dad so much that I still miss him everyday. I hope you guys and ladies understand.

Summer is here.

Well, summer is here in Mississippi. The heat index will be hitting 100 degrees tomorrow. Can you say fry me an egg?

Spring is in the Air

Today with the weather here in Mississippi reminds me that Spring is on its way. I can't wait. I hope it is not a hot one.

Happy Birthday

Today is my dad's birthday. He would have been 66 years old today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I miss you and love you.

YEAR 2012

Well, this has not been the best year. But, I know that God is in control. To start it out my mom was in and out of the hospital. 29 days ago my Aunt in Texas was put in the ICU because of Pneumonia. She is still in ICU. Then on the 21 of March on my way out the door to go to church I fell down my steps and yet have gone back to work. So, I am not looking forward to the other 2/3 of the year.

The Weather

With this crazy weather I have fell ill. I have been diagnosed with Viral Flu. I am not able to be around anyone. Yuck!!!!! Now here it is the middle of February and the high will be in the 70's tomorrow. No wonder everyone is sick!!
