Trip to Rapid City, South Dakota

Well, as you can see below that if you wanted to travel to South Dakota for the reunion by Amtrak, you would need to make other arrangements. You could go as far as Minneapolis or Denver then rent a car to drive to the hotel in Rapid City. However, there is always flying.

However, you could always meet up with some of the guys and maybe carpool or caravan to the reunion.

ON THE WAY HOME

Today is the day that everyone is leaving Minnesota and going back to their homes.

I hope you all have a great and safe blessed trip.

I found out that in 2010 we will be meeting in Rapid City, South Dakota and in 2011 we will be in Nashville, Tennessee. Hope to see everyone there.

Oh and there will be pictures coming from Minnesota.

LAST DAY OF THE REUNION

If today was like last year, then this morning was the meeting and then tonight will be the banquet.

It is nice that people geet together every year to catch up on their lives. I know that tonight will be bitter sweet. But, there is always next year!

I am hoping that next year that I can be there in South Dakota with all of you. I am actually looking forward to it.

THIRD DAY OF REUNION

Today was the tour of the Twin Cities. I hope it was fun and informative.

I can't wait to hear some of the stories from this year reunion.

I do know that I will be with you guys next year because I feel so out of place being at home when you guys are having sooooo much FUN!

Second Day of Reunion

Today I imagine everyone took the day to explore the city and learn more about the surrounding area.

You guys were in my thoughts today. I sure do wish I was there with you.

First Day of the Reunion

Well, today should have been the meet and greet.

Wish I was there with you. I know that it is great to see everyone again.

REUNION TIME

Well, everyone is arriving today at the hotel.

For those who have their computers with them, Nadine and Chuck have dvds for those who were in Portland last year.

There are some great pictures there of the whales, and of our trip to see the Spruce Goose.

These are FREE!!!!! I hope that you enjoy it.

ONE WEEK TO GO

Well, as of today there is only one week before the "Cat" Crew will come together. I know from my experience last year that it will be a BLAST!

I do wish those safe journeys to Minneapolis. I am looking forward to receiving pictures to see all the fun that I missed.

I am already planning to be at next year's reunion though.

I only wish that we could get more of the "Cat" crew from the Vietnam era there and more involved. I do know that would keep the reunions going.

I also know that if the kids of the Crew would get more involved the better chance of remembering the ones that did fight for us and for "FREEDOM"!!!!!
