Saying Goodbye to 2008

As of today, there is less than 3 weeks left of 2008.

I have lost some great friends and family members. I just wanted to take this time to reflect on this past year.

We saw history being made with a new president elected. We lost a great actor at the beginning of the year. We saw the gas prices almost $4 a gallon and then close to the end of the year the gas went back under $2 a gallon. We saw Wall Street almost go broke and the nation get worried. We are seeing more homeless in our nation now.

Just keep this in mind when you go to pray, Pray for those who are leading this country and pray for those who don't have anything.

Thank you for listening to me.

This is what I am thankful for:my God, family, friends, my church, and my job.

I hope that Santa brings you what you want.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND I WILL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!!!!

Still Waiting

Back Home

Well, I hope that everyone made back to their homes safe and sound. Well, I am now back in my part of this fine country. I am so glad to meet what I now call my extended family. Thanks again to all of you guys and of course the women that made me feel welcome and I really enjoyed my time in Portland. Can't wait til Minnesota. I will be there!!!!!! Take care and don't forget to send me your pictures. This site is not just mine but yours too!!!!

6th Day of Vacation

Today started at 8:00am with us getting on the bus for our tour of Oregon. We started at Newport then lunch at a casino and ended at the Evergreen Aviation Center(home of the Spruce Goose.

5th Day of Vacation

Today we went up the Columbia River Gorge and saw some huge salmon, waterfalls and the Columbia River with a couple of the "Cat" members and their wives. The pictures say it all.

USS Catamount Meet and Greet
