The Weather

With this crazy weather I have fell ill. I have been diagnosed with Viral Flu. I am not able to be around anyone. Yuck!!!!! Now here it is the middle of February and the high will be in the 70's tomorrow. No wonder everyone is sick!!

Where is Winter?

I am here in Mississippi and it is hot and rainy. Where did Mr Winter Go?

New Year

Well, here it is the 16Th of Jan. Today is MLK day but here in Mississippi we have been celebrating it for years as Robert E Lee Day. Go Figure!

Christmas Time

Well, this year instead of a white Christmas we got a wet Christmas. Rain and more Rain. It is 12 noon and we have gotten 3 inches of rain at my house.

Survived Black Friday

Veterans Day

I am so sorry that I did not get on here to blog and THANK everyone of you guys that served on this great ship back on the 11th.

I do have a very good excuse. I was laying to rest one of my heroes, A veteran of WWII (my Pappaw (John Chester Magarity)).

But I hope that everyone of you had a great day.

Just found out tonight that next year will be here next year. I also heard that this was the biggest reunion ever. Wow I wish I was there. Maybe next year.

Well, today there was a bus ride today showing parts of Nashville. I know I would have loved to have been there. Tonight is going to be at the Grand Ole Opry. Have fun all!!!!!

1st DAY OF REUNION

Today I got a message from the President's wife (Nadine) who said that there was over 70 all ready there. That is great news. Hope you guys are having fun. Have a nice meet and greet. Thinking of you all right now.

REUNION TIME AGAIN

Ok the time has come again. I have to say that I am going to miss the reunion that I really wanted to go to. With my elbow surgery using all my vacation time, I am not able to join you guys. However, I am hoping that I can join you next year. So, please keep me in the loop and don't forget to send pictures. I am sending all the "Cat" crew and their loved ones angel hugs. Love you all.

Remembering My Dad

I don't know if you guys realized but the birthday weekend started on my dad's birthday this year. I went out and had all u can eat catfish to honor him. I wish that you guys could have known him. He was straight and to the point kind of guy. Things are going ok for me right now. We survived the tornadoes and now we are facing the floods.

Btw, CONGRATULATIONS to the Navy Seals on a Job WELL DONE!!!!!!

Today reminds me of what my told me one day when we were living in Oklahoma. He told me today is a good day for a new start. Because everything else is brand new. HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE.

Update on Me

Some of you did not meet me in Portland at the reunion. But, I work full-time and now I am adding going back to school for a Bachelor's degree for Business Administration. This will be a four year program and I will be doing no vacations for this time. I am so upset that I will not get to spend time with you guys in person for the next four years. But, this is what I need to do to go further in my career.

I hope you guys understand. I will keep you guys up to date with my progress. And still keep me inform of what is going on in your lives.

REUNION FOR 2011 INFO STARTS NOW

Well I received a letter that states that the Reunion is Sept 26-30 of next year. So those that have to put in for their vacations can save that time now. See you guys in Nashville. Only 8 hours away from me. YAY! I can drive!!!!!!! So Excited.....
